I received a message from one of my friend's Facebook account to transfer some funds urgently. I did that considering that I knew her for very long. I made a couple of transactions, and the person asked me to transfer some more funds which created doubt in my mind. I called her back and then I got to know that her account was hacked and the amount that I had transferred was to some fraud person. I had already lodged a complaint with the Cyber police station, Gurgaon and escalated the matter with my own bank and the beneficiary bank. The amount was transferred to someone registered with Shivalik bank, Ghaziabad. The beneficiary bank says that they have already started the investigation and necessary measures have been taken with that account number. What are my options here?

The first thing you can do is to notify your bank immediately. Then block your account number and request the bank to make you a new one.
