I am staying in a Co-op Housing Society in Mumbai, and the Managing Committee Members committed fraud by selling Part of Society Plot to neighbouring Society in 1989. The act was hidden from everyone, until 2014. Now, those same Committee Members, who are still in the managing committee, even Presently, want to legalise the Fraud, by taking majority votes, from other members, i.e. Other members have come to terms and have agreed to that act of Fraud, who fully understand the fraud, are all senior citizens and do not have the strength to followup in Courts. They are saying that they can make Payment to me of my share (our society is of 29 members) I, alone am against this act of Fraud, which they Committed. I have complete record documents, and how they transferred the Plot fraudulently. I request you to please do let me know : 1. Can Fraud be Legalised after the Act is Committed, by taking majority Votes? 2. Can I Put up the Case (I am alone, and no other member is going to support me), and if so yes, in which Court, will it be City Civil Court. 3. Can I get names / Numbers of some Lawyers who can send Notice (who are not too expensive, as I too am 80 years of age)?

You can contact the other residents of the society and file a complaint against the members of the committee for fraud. Since you mentioned that you are a senior citizen, onboarding other residents would not only solidify your matter but also help you in dealing with the legalities much easily.
