I took admission for a digital marketing course in October 2018. I paid Rs. 2500 for the fees. But after taking admission, they have taken only 2 lectures in 2 months which are irrelevant. Whenever I go to class, they say that the faculty is not available and they do not bother to inform the students. I decided to discontinue that course and I asked for a refund. I have been taking follow-ups for a refund but they are saying that the refund is in process. The person of contact has blocked by number. I need my money back. What can I do?

If the digital marketing institute is not willing to refund your amount back, you can proceed to file a consumer complaint against them for faulty services.

You can consult a consumer protection lawyer in India to first send a legal notice to the institute, mentioning the facts in the matter and the action required to be taken by the coaching centre. If the institute does not act upon the legal notice or fails to send a reply to the legal notice, you can proceed to file a consumer complaint with the appropriate Consumer Forum.

The consumer case lawyer in Indiacan draft and file your consumer complaint along with any documents that support your claim. The court will evaluate your complaint and ask the company to send their representative to appear before the court.
