Employer Forcing Me To Take Blame For Fraud

I work were some time back the was a fraudulent case reported about our account and 2 clients who were paying with cheques and some of the cheques were not banked and later they company found out it records were not matching. Some banking slips were brought were fake and accounting was in a mess when it was discovered the cash strains in banks. My job was to invoice the customer's order then I had the invoices to the manager who verify the goods going out. My boss is blaming me I haven't specified the account and the 2 clients were involved in the case, I gave a statement to CID officer of what my duties were. My boss is the one who got to find out the fraud yet he wanted me to state when I wasn't aware. Please help me, I don't want to go to jail

If you are fired because you refused to do something illegal at work or because you reported illegal activity, you may have legal claims against your employer. You can file a civil case in labour court for the same.
