On the promise of builder picking up the tab and paying PRE-EMIs, I purchased a flat on 2018. I was not given either a copy of the agreement to sell or the tripartite agreement at the time of their execution. Builder paid PRE-EMIs for first 10 months, thereafter he had stopped altogether. Construction of the project is stalled. Its progress in 2020 is the same as it was in the year 2018. Now that I have got the documents from the bank, I have come to know that 1. Condition of paying PRE-EMIs is not mentioned in the tripartite agreement. 2. Duration for completion of the project is 42 months (no mention as to from which date such period is to be reckoned). On the contrary, on the RERA website date of completion is mentioned as January 2020 (construction had commenced way back in 2015). What are my options? I just want to come out of this?

A complaint in RERA or a case in consumer court is the best option for your matter.
