My grandfather owned a shop on pagdi basis in Mumbai. He transferred the shop on my father's & uncle's name nearly 30 years back & shifted to native place in Uttar Pradesh. Now my father's sister who stays in Uttar Pradesh wants a share in the shop. I wanted to know can she claim a share in the shop now after 30 years though the shop is transferred on my dad & uncle's name?

If your grandfather died before 2005, your aunt cannot claim a share in the property as daughters only became coparceners after the 2005 amendment to the law.
