I am planning to start a business using "paramotor" it is like paragliding But in the rules of government, there is clause stating we cannot use "powered hang glider" for commercial purposes only sports and recreation purposes I have checked this with DGCA (govt body for air travel) also. In the rules of DGCA, it is mentioned as "powered hang glider" but I am using a paramotor both are different. For paramotor, there is nothing mentioned in the rules of DGCA My question - can I use paramotor for commercial purposes as nothing is mentioned on the rules of DGCA specifically for "paramotor" Once I start using it can DGCA claim that it is not legal stating the rules of "powered glider"?

You may have to be very specific as to the difference between the two. The DGCA might bring paramotor under 'powered glider'. Hire a startup lawyer would seek clarification from the DGCA and the court in this matter.
