Are there any necessary taxes or legal perquisites that may be faced by a crowd sourced delivery (travelers carrying goods for people fora fee)?

Are there any special taxes / legal prerequisites necessary for a crowdsourced delivery (peer to peer) company? How will it be similar to or different from courier services? Any points to be kept in mind while using any such service?

Team Legistify

A crowd sourced delivery (peer to peer) company falls under the definition of a standard courier service, as defined under the section 66(33) of the Finance Act, 1994. Therefore, there are no special taxes applicable to your proposed form of business other than the ones that would be applicable on any Taxable service as defined in the section 66(105) of the same act.
