What are the duties of the seller in a sale of immovable property?
<p>I want to understand this in detail as i want to sell a property and i want to know my duties.</p>

Before the sale takes place, the seller is duty bound to disclose all material defects in the property which is the subject of sale, to the buyer. He also has to produce the title deeds in order to execute conveyance in favor of the buyer. Once the sale has been completed, the seller is bound to give the possession of the property and also to deliver the title deeds on receipt of the price.
