I want to file a consumer case againt my ISP i-on internet OR DVOISS SSV as they are known. They are asking me to pay the price for the wire that was cut from my terrace. For your matter, it is advised to send a legal notice to the ISP before you proceed to file a complaint with the consumer court as a legal notice drafted by a good consumer court lawyer in India will be very effective and make the company refund your amount. In case the company does not resolve your matter or fails to send a reply to the legal notice, you can proceed to hire a consumer protection lawyer and file a complaint with the district consumer court of the area where you reside.

You must send a legal notice to the Internet Service Provider even if you plan to file a consumer complaint as it is mandatory to send a legal notice to the service provider before you take a legal action against it before the consumer forum under the Consumer Protection Act.
