I am planning to start a very small venture capital initiative.
It will involve one person, a few projects for over 1 year.
I am planning to invest a particular amount which will go as a salary for one individual for one year and any additional fund required for the project, the individual is working on with some limit. I will be guiding the individual with the project at all possible levels.
The outcome of this project i want to be 55% share holder of the resulting product or company or revenue, and give the individual 45 % share and continue on the project.
For such a setup what legal aspects do i need to handle. I need to prepare a contract document that i want the individual to sign so that there is no IP theft?
Can i do these on my own or what type of lawyer i need to connect with and what are the fees for such services?
Kindly advice. thanks.

A venture capital fund is a pooled investment scheme that primarily invests the financial capital of third-party investors in enterprises that are too risky for the standard capital markets or bank loans.
Venture capital can also include managerial and technical expertise.
If the Venture capital does not register itself or if it does not follow the guidelines of SEBI, then it will be dealt as per the SEBI guidelines.
For making a contract, Hire a good lawyer who can add all such clauses in your agreement that are required in order to avoid further legal disputes. The Corporate lawyer has a deeper understanding of all the terms and clauses, therefore it is better to get a lawyer's help in this regard.
