Supreme Court Website Hacked After Judge Loya Ruling

Published on 19 Apr 2018 by Shivi

The Supreme Court of India’s website was hacked today after the top court pronounced its judgement on different PILs filed for an independent probe into judge Brijmohan Harikishan Loya’s death.

Within an hour of the decision of the court to dismiss the petitions for an independent probe into the mysterious death of the special CBI judge Loya, the court’s website www.supremecourtofindia.nic.in became inaccessible.

No group has taken responsibility for the hack, however, the page displayed a message ‘hackeado por HighTech Brazil HacTeam’ that suggests that it was the work of a Brazilian hacking group.

The website is still down and is displaying ‘Site Under Maintenance’ message on the homepage’.
