REPLYING TO the application of Haryana Civil Services (HCS) officer Shilpi Pattar, CBI denied Pattar’s allegations of assaulting her husband and threatening her in custody. The CBI filed a reply stating that the allegations levelled by Pattar in her application were baseless. The order on the applications will be pronounced by the court during the next hearing on November 14.

Pattar had filed an application through her counsel asking the court to direct CBI officials not to send her voice samples and other documents in which her signatures have been taken to the CFSL lab and her voice sample was taken without her permission.

The CBI, however, in its reply said the sample was given by her voluntarily and that it has already been sent to CFSL. Pattar had also demanded the documents back from her house search and personal search. The CBI agreed to give the personal search documents but not the ones recovered from her house at this stage.

The HCS officer also demanded a copy of the recording made by CBI. The agency, in its reply, said they had sent the SD card to CFSL already. However, they have a back-up in a computer and agreed to provide her a copy.
