This notice is sent by the client to the builder or constructor when there is a delay in the construction of premises such as an apartment complex or other housing complex.
It is your right as a consumer to get what you have paid for. It is your means of exercising that right. This notice is needed if you wish to bring to the notice of
the builder that legal action can be taken against him/her.
To make it legally binding, the notice must be sent to the builder/constructor through a lawyer. The notice must be duly signed by the lawyer on his/her letterhead.
You may use it if you have bought a plot, or premises and the property has not been handed over to you by the promised date.
