1.Right to maintenance for boys only lasts till he turns 18, whereas girls have right to maintenance till they get married

As per the Hindu Adoption and Maintenance Act, 1956, it is the responsibility of the parents to provide maintenance to the girl child till she is able to maintain herself or gets married. Whereas, a boy child is only entitled to maintenance till he is a minor.

2. No prosecution for a woman committing adultery

Section 497 of the Indian Penal Code provides that if a married man commits adultery with the wife of another man, he can be prosecuted for it. But there is no such provision for a woman committing adultery.

3. Consensual sex with a girl under 16 years of age makes you a RAPIST!
