Is it arson if I burn a property that is solely mine?

It might be arson, it might be something else.Even if it isn't arson the fact that fire fighters will have to risk their lives putting out the fire could result in charges. Add in risk to other lives and property and so on. If you want to find out if you can legally burn your own property without causing criminal liability, best check with a lawyer about it. There may be ways, there may not be. It would depend entirely on your specific circumstances, the location of the property and the risks involved.
