What is the hour limit of work for an employee under labour law in India ?
In India, is there a limit on the number of hours per week an employer can make an employee work? What do the labour laws say?

You can work only maximum of 8 hours per day with break after 4 hours. Anything over this will be overtime for which compensation must be provided separately. This applies to all kind of work including Manufacturing and Service. This is according to Minimum Wages Act
