LIC company denying the claim as mother died within the year of policy
My mother had taken LIC life insurance policy. The year she took the she died that year itself. I was the nominee in the policy. Then we applied for the claim. The company said that our mother hid some of the important facts about our health. They said we won't have provided policy if we knew her health condition. They did all the checks and then gave the policy. I filed in the ombudsman but we they denied it. What action can i take against them?

A proper remedy may be suggested only after perusal of the relevant documents. Consultation advised. Although, if upon perusal of documents it is made out that you might have a claim, then a consumer complaint may be initiated.
